I have loved his earlier movies viz. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar and Aashika Bhatia are believable in their characters. If you want to see nothing out of the box with whole of your family , in which nothing tragic will happen , where the whole story from the start is clear and you know that how everything will be fine at the end , then this is a movie for you. The emotional scenes fail since you are too bored watching some illogical scenes. Yet its good to watch but hard to get blown away by it. I must say that some of the dialogues are powerful and leave an impact but most of the jokes are senseless but sometimes enjoyable.
Why can't a movie have someone decent who can actually act and no there because of family name? Apart from Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, all Salman Khan movies have been the same for the past 10 years, and most of them have been pretty bad. I am so disappointed because I have always loved Sooraj Barjatya's movies. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has recreated the iconic Sheesh Mahal inspired by the one in Mughal-e-Azam. Salman absolutely rocks in his dual role especially the one as Prem Dilwale which seems to be a lift off from his Bajarangi Bhaijaan character. Rather, the climax fight is the highlight of this film. This time around, Salman is cast in a dual role -- while he takes to Prem, the simpleton, like a fish takes to water, he's equally competent as Vijay, the prince.
Either that or we have a set of the most bogus witch-hunt reviews ever. But here, he goes a step further: they go to school, and one of them plays football. I could go on and on about the banality of the entire plot narrative but I will just suffice it to say that there really is no point investing into this family drama helmed by Salman Khan. They keep delivering dialogues in slow motion. It's taken for granted that it's only the bad guys in this movie who smoke and drink while the good guys only eat vegetarian food. If you appreciate your friends, family and even those you don't know but you can see they're unhappy and would like to see their problems go away and be happy, then this film is something that you would enjoy. The acting is ace - this year is Salman's finest yet in cinematic grace.
