I remember being able to use a standard Gamecube memory card in place of the Action Replay memory card. I'm assuming the adapter is recognized by the Gamecube. That's what this sub is for. I've tried to even go through device manager and locate the driver manually. . Using Action Replay requires a memory card that has its corresponding software files. S- After looking on Ebay I couldn't really find anything. I was able to do some digging and apparently Transcend cards are notoriously a gamble on whether they'll work. Will report back if I get it working. The particular Action Replay is v1.

I believe there's a handful of games that work with that exploit, I just don't happen to own any of them. Action Replay will boot up just fine, but after fully loading the program will request you to insert a memory card with Action Replay software in your Gamecube or Wii, if you're playing on that to continue operations. I have an action replay disc that say wii supported.
I had 2 cards that I couldn't get to work, but I finally tried an ancient 64mb I had laying around for some reason and that one worked. Not sure the brand as I pulled off the label years ago. I didn't have to format anything, I just deleted the saves on the card, and the Action Replay saved to it normally. I've tried both memory card slots already. Sometimes games just stop mid game.
Therefore they stopped doing the memory card thing, to save more money and make more money at the same time. . Action replays don't come with memory cards anymore. The memory cards were for adding additional codes not made by Datel, or codes from Datel that came out after your disc was minted. I guess the memory card serves a different purpose.

Your memory card-less disc will work if it is the type that was made after memory cards stopped coming with. When I go to manage the memory cards, it recognizes a card is inserted but I just can't use it. Has anyone else had issues, if so, how'd you fix it? I used a standard 59 block official Gamecube card. I had a finicky card and this worked for me.

Basically, I would rather just buy the disc and use an official card for the code data the Datel cards are cheap pieces of junk anyway. Hyper-Chicken You need the card to actually have cheats.
Bass7 No, it's through codes, and a memory, no flash unfortunately. It's pretty much identical to the N64 Gameshark. Use this: I just got it in today. Something that is not common knowledge, at least it seems so to me anyway is that you don't really need that little dongle that comes with the Action Replay disk. If you have a wii that you can launch homebrew on and any 3rd party gamecube memory card. Once you're in Swiss, you can switch to a big card, I'm using a 64gb samsung card. Sometimes games that have played a thousand times just stop working.
